BLS Polymers IPO: What To Know, Details, GMP, Price

A New Delhi-based maker of custom polymer compounds opens its Rs 255 crore mainboard issue on October 27 — HDPE, PVC, XLPE and HFFR compounds for wires, cables and pipeline coatings, with a telecom-led, pan-India presence, but boosted margins from FY25 that raise sustainability questions.

BLS Polymers Ltd (BPL) manufactures multiple grades of custom-formulated polymer compounds — an essential raw material for sheathing, jacketing and insulation of wires and cables (used in power, telecom and railways), and for coating underground oil, gas and water pipelines (corrosion/environmental protection). It caters to diversified critical industries including telecommunication, power, railways, water, and oil & gas distribution.

Its diversified product portfolio includes HDPE, MDPE and LLDPE compounds (insulation, sheathing, jacketing for wires and cables), plus XLPE, HFFR, PVC, cable filling compounds (CFC) and adhesive coating compounds (adding strength, high-voltage insulation, fire and moisture resistance). HDPE and adhesive compounds are key layers of the 3LPE (three-layer polyethylene) pipe-coating system. Telecommunication has the lion’s share of revenue, followed by water distribution, power, and oil & gas.

BPL has a pan-India presence (operations across 23 states/UTs), is enlisted with Maharatna/Navratna/Miniratna CPSEs and the Government of Gujarat, and exports to Bangladesh, Egypt, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, UAE, USA and Zambia (~95% of revenue is domestic). It had 175 employees plus 97 contract labourers as of August 31, 2026.

Financial Performance

Particulars (Rs cr) FY24 FY25 FY26 Q1-FY27
Total Income 301.50 336.70 354.41 107.81
Net Profit (PAT) 7.52 21.14 27.01 10.23

RoCE (%) 12.84 25.46 29.51 9.11

Total income grew from Rs 301.50 crore (FY24) to Rs 354.41 crore (FY26), with Rs 107.81 crore in Q1-FY27; PAT jumped from Rs 7.52 crore to Rs 27.01 crore, and PAT margin expanded sharply from 2.54% to 7.73% (9.56% in Q1-FY27). Those boosted margins from FY25 onwards raise sustainability questions in a competitive, fragmented segment. Trade receivables of Rs 95.15 crore (as of June 30, 2026) are an alarm; contingent liabilities were Rs 14.15 crore. No dividend history.

BLS Polymers brings a diversified custom-polymer-compound maker to the mainboard — HDPE/PVC/XLPE/HFFR compounds for wires, cables and pipeline coatings, a telecom-led revenue mix, pan-India CPSE enlistment and exports, with a capex-and-working-capital raise.
